Maybe if we went to forest walk or bush, we could make animal traps to trap weasels and possums and other animal pests. or go to the beach and do stuff there or we could go to in different gruops and each group has a different topic, say 1 group had the topic of animal pests and the other to do with new zealand bush. The groups would go to a field trip on their topic and make a movie. or if that is to hard, we all study new zealand bush and look at it with a different perspective.

Dead Poet Society Review

Strongly shy Todd Anderson and Enthusiastic Neil have been sent to a strict woven school. Aftter Neil's dad told he has to drop the newspaper, Neil feels like the world has gone, whearas Todd has suffered the stress of the teachers to expect him to strive to be the best, just like his older brother. Then the two meet John Keating, their new English teacher. He encourages to open their eyes to the world and to seize the day. He introduces them to the Dead Poets Society and the boys, along with their friends, agree to join and discover the power of poetry. What If...

What if money didn't exist and everybody took what they needed and everybody was kind and we just lived our lives. Everybody lived in one big country and wars wern't in our vocab. Happyness was the medicine to everything and the world broke with smileitis. Everything was pretty and bright and there was no animal cruelty and girls were better than boys. Thats how I think our world should be, anyone else think that to?

Project Update....

I think that Lord Carnarvon did not die of blood poisoning by a mosquito. As my dad says, you cannot get blood poisoning by a mosquito. So he might have died of germs on the pyrmids because they are reeaallly old. If the lights of Cairo Hospital went out when he (Lord Carnarvon) died maybe King Tut's ghost blew him in the head. King Tut's death defintly had to something with a dog because his dog dropped dead. I want to know if there was any trace of dried blood on his cheek and if lady Evelyn and Abdul Ali died and if curse awkens if someone opens his tomb and if there have been any more cases of deaths since Lord carnarvon. More research but I am still willing to do so.

Project Update....

Hey mr. Woody! So far for my project I have some therios for my question. I think King Tut's death has something to do with dogs. Yes, they did have dogs in that time. I thought that because Lord Carnarvons dog dropped dead and why not his family?. Does anyone belive in curses?, does anyone belive in ghots?, because if King's Tut's ghost is the cause of this so.... My theroy also raises more subsidary questions like: Did Lord Carnarvon have a bone in left cheek?, was Lord Carnarvn the one that opened his (King Tut) case, only the curse comes alive if someone opens the mummy's case, not if you open the actual tomb and has there been any other deaths after Lord Carnarvon? I have more researching to do but I'm very willing to do so.

It is so cool how we get to choose our own topics, it's fun, cool, because I reckon we be more in to it and we get a chance to podcast!!!

Dear Diary,

I'm cold, wet, hungry and dismal. After that deranged black cloud left us here, my enviroment has changed into a forest thing. Its like we went back in time, but that couldn't happen, couldn't it? So now Gwen singing like a madman and Rebecca crying over the loss of her teddy bear.

The sun smiled with a glowing happyness, the water shimmered like body glitter. I burst with excitment and I laughed like I had just drunken Happy Laughter Juice. The Biscane waited paitently, yearning to go and let loose. The sight looked beutiful and I thought that nothing culd go wrong. As everyone took there shoes off, a thought cast in my mind, is this safe enough, have I sealed my fate in danger? I shook my head in laughter as I got ready for a little moe.

"Amal, Amal, wake up!,"Rebecca.W said, she was shaking me to death, her dug into my sholders and her eyes were wide as saucers. "There's a black cloud thingy thats gone crazy, look I'll show you," Rebecca hurriedly described.She pointed her shaky, pale, white finger at the black cloud. Whatever this thing was, it made everyone jump out of their skin. The sea was choppy, with a snarl of frothy white snow and the smiling sun was no longer there. "JUMP!!!," bellowed a very smart person and it we jumped just in time. As I swam for my life, I kept a look out for my fellow classmates. My happy emotion ceased everytime I thought taunted me that we would die. Suddenly, a fire burned, wanting revenge, right then and there I vowed who ever did this, they will pay. I coughed spulttered like an old car as i thought about this day. Oh, diary, I wish I culd go back in time and stop this mayhem. I cried my myself to sleep with Gwen and Rebecca still keeping up with their choatic behaviour.

Eid!

Eid al fitr is marking the end of Ramadan, the month of fasting. Fitr maeans to break and represents the end of ramadan. Eid is celebrated on the first day of Shawaal (the 10th month of the muslim calendar) and it also depends on the sighting of the new moon.

Muslim families wake up early to have a special eid prayer in large places. After the prayer families visit other families and have fun. Kids get to wear new clothes, have any thing they want and a day of school!!!! This is a very, very, very special day to us. The first Eid was celebrated in 624 CE with Muhamed and his family and friends after the battle of Badr.

Help!!!

I really need help with speeches. I'm really terrified, even thinking about makes my hands go wet and clammy. I don't know what makes me terrified of speeches. I think I get nervous because I always think what I say is wrong and I'll make a fool of myself. Does anyone has tips for me????????? I really need them. Thanks!!!

The Great Race Around The Galaxly

"Stop!, you crazy machine, stop!!!," Zelda shreiked. Her UFO dived into a building, having a mind of its own. It screeched to a halt and died down, stopping all controls. "How am I going to win the race now, Elppa sure to beat me," Zelda angrily mumbled, kicking the UFO hard, her toe swelling with pain. I got ready to send a message to Bop and say that I'm stuck and I will forfeit the race when I caught a glimpse of yahoo's walking and carring bags. My curiosity took over me and I slipped behind a pot plant and listened. " Rachel, come and look at what I brought," a yahoo said.
"What," said this yahoo apparently called Rachel.
Look at this fab pink paperclip I have, its for my collection," yahoo said quickly. Paperclip, paperclip? It ringed in my ears. I want it, I want the pink paperclip. I made a grab for it, not caring that I'm reavling my ugly slimy body to these bunch of yahoo's. "Aaarrrgghh!," yelled a yahoo. " a alien, an alien stole my paperclip!!,". I cluched the clip hard, hurting my hands. Suddenly, the world dissappered and the yahoo's shreiks were fading to nothing.

"Yay!!! Woohoo!!You done it girly, you won the Great Race Around The Galaxly!!!," a crazy goon yelled hoarsly. the creature in my chest roared with triumph, an europhic feeling flowing inside me. I lifted the trophy with pride and wore my spectacles with joy while basking all the glory the galaxly gave me. So everytime I put my spectacles on, I remember the great race and finally beating Elppa.

The wilderness of the forest, demons roaming around yearning to haunt me, no one their for me except Sioux. Flying, soaring in the dark, black sky, her sharp eye watching, looking for predators. Sioux's low, soft, beautiful cry, melting my heart with mixed feelings. Her tears of sadness healing the wounded. She makes my life more exhilarating than it is. My Personal Project

Hey Mr.Woody!! For my personal project, i will do a experiment about how razor blades can be sharper by a prymid. I'm doing this because I've been into ancient civilisations since i could read indepently and while i came across my research I found this and it sounded very very interesting. For my experiment I will have a blunt razor in one prymid and a sharp one and decaying food in other prymids. I have got instructions from the net of how to make a prymid for the experiment. I would probably present it by making a little presentation on powerpiont and use dialouge and photos of experiment.

Communicating

This is a thought I might like to share with our classroom. What if people forgot how to speak to other people and relied heavily on technology and had little tech note things and people flashed in thier faces, wouldn't be weird.

I think should use tech 50% of the day because heaps of people are using it more and have communicating promblems, for instance a person i know goes on the computer like 99% of the day and mumbles and dosen't talk that much. What's your thought??

Vitruvian Porportion Investagation- My conclusion

I think that Leonardo's theroy does not work for us because we are growing and that effects the result. The female adults were really close like with about 1 cm apart. Probably Leonado didn't know about fair testing and only tested his theroy once. What do you think?

Mr Woody, here's some tips on to become a good how-to-control-your-class teacher.

• Be a good example.
• Make sure your class knows what thier task is.
• Don't distract your class.
• Be organised!!
• Be constant if they are naughty e.g. if Max, Mohamed or Jacob talks in a test, put his name on the A.D board.
• Never let them go on a detention because they will think they can be naughty and get away with a detention.
• Have fun some times.

Indigo Blue
By Cathy Cassidy.

This book is about a girl called Indigo and she has got a little sister called Misti and her Mum, called Anna. Indigo's mum has a promblem with Max (Her 3rd Boyfriend!!8>0) and so they move into a rundown flat miles away from her school. Her social life, her friendship, her family are all crumbling and she dosen't know what to do. Max hunts thier new home and horros Indigo's family. There's ups and downs and emotional out breaks. This book is really addictive, you can't put it down!! But I really think there should be more descriptive writing. So if you are looking for a book, read Indigo Blue!

Hot News!!

Mr David Baine killed 5 members of his family.(????!!!!!!) Next year in Feburary they will do a offaical hearing. The police rekon that he killed 4 members first with a gun and he washed. He did his morning paper round and came home and turned the computer on and hid behind the computer till his father finished praying and he shot him. He went to work and when he came back he rang 111. One of his friends belive he is innocent, his reason is because he thinks that police didn't gather enough inoformation to proof he was guilty. Do you think he is guilty or innocent?

Leonado

One day I read a book on leonado and it was about the bronze horse, and not many people know about that. So what happened is that leonado carved this enormous horse out of bronze for the king. Leonado's country was in war with somebody (i can't remember!) and they wrecked the horse and leonado was really sad coz it took him years and years 2 make it and on his deathbed he was still sad!! This man came along and read in a mag about leonado's horse, he felt sorry for leonado and decided to rebuild the horse, he went to the profentionals and they helped him make the horse , when the horse was finished and they sent it to Italy, the man died. It was such a touching story. If you want to read it, the title is called Leonado and his horse.

Hamilton Inquiry Unit

Mr Woody, I would like to do an mini inquiry unit on Hamilton and my essential question is:

Does Hamilton's citys promblems effect peoples opinion of our city?.
My Subsidary questions are:

What are the citys promblems?
How can I/we solve them?
